This  (5K - (chip-timed) Run/Fun Walk encourages race participants to run or walk in their best Halloween costume for a fundraising event to benefit the Gary Kahler Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The Trick or Trot 5K Run/Fun Walk is the biggest event for the Professional Women in Building (PWB) each year.   The Gary Kahler Memorial Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to Permian Basin college students, especially those pursuing a career in the building industry.

 

This event is designed to be a family-friendly, fun-filled experience for every member of the family including your four-legged friends!  There will be costume competitions, jump bouncers, face painting, Balloons by Harlin, Kona Ice Truck, Cliff's BBQ Truck, games, and more!

What: Trick or Trot 5K Run/Fun Walk (5K - chip timed)
When: Saturday, October 3, 2020
Where: Midland College (start in the parking lot of Allison Fine Arts Building)
Who: This event is for runners, walkers, and their four-legged friends!

Cost: $35  Children under 12 and under free

 

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION: First 50 registrants receive a Trick or Trot t-shirt by registering online

8:00 AM - Registration

9:00 AM - 5K Runners Start

9:10 AM - Walkers Start

10:00 AM - Awards

10:15 AM - Costume Competition

10:30 AM - Family Fun Time

• Age categories: 

  • Less than 18

  • 19-35

  • 36-55

  • 55 and over

• Costume Competition medals awarded for:

  • Best adult costume

  • Best child costume

  • Best pet costume

• All dogs must be leashed and vaccinated. Please keep your dogs by your side at all times, keep retractable leashes locked, and please clean up after your pet.
